Office365 Transition

As a result of recent reviews, we are moving all email accounts and cloud storage away from Google because they are not hosted in Australia.

You may be aware that DJR, along with other Vic government departments, are moving to Microsoft Office365.  We therefore intend to move the Google accounts to Office365 too.  The transition will address the individual SCCINFO accounts, email, contacts, calendar, cloud file storage, distribution lists and other dependencies as needed.

Each Google account user now has an Office365 account. This is a new email address.  The two accounts will run in parallel for a period of time while we transition, with your SCCINFO email redirected to your new account.

You will receive details of your new "@em.vic.gov.au" account in your EMV or SCCINFO email which will allow you to log in and start becoming familiar with the new environment.

Each user will need to manage the transfer of their information.  It is not a difficult task and it will allow you to archive anything that you don’t need ongoing access to.  The Help information below will step you through the process.
